Reilly Gets Key Endorsements from Unions
Coming into the last two weeks before the primaries, Tom Reilly picked up key union endorsements that boast the support of more than 100,000 workers.
"I am proud of the support I've received from the working men and women of Massachusetts," Reilly said. "I've been fighting on the side of the working families of this state throughout my career, and I'm going to continue fighting for them to make a difference in their lives as Governor."
The unions have launched the outreach efforts to support Reilly's campaign for Governor. On Tuesday, all endorsing labor groups will hold a campaign rally at Florian Hall in Dorchester to continue to build momentum and support heading into the September 19th primary. This past week, they distributed a letter to all labor leaders, including those who are now supporting other candidates, urging them to support Reilly, and calling him "the only Democrat who can beat the Republicans in November." The labor groups will also provide significant support in Reilly's Get Out The Vote efforts - setting up phone banks, mail drops, and visibility stations across the Commonwealth
