Gay Rights Group will Distribute Literature Today Likening Kris Mineau to Flesh-Eating Alien in ‘Twilight Zone’
       Know Thy Neighbor.org, a gay rights group, will be distributing an information packet today at the State House which casts Kris Mineau, president of the Massachusetts Family Institute, as a man-eating alien in a parody of an obscure episode of the Twilight Zone.
       The group will be dressed as waiters, and will pass out their information in the form of a menu, along with the parody story of how Mineau is really like the nefarious alien in the TV show.
       Legislators are expected to vote on the marriage amendment on Wednesday. Know thy Neighbor is just one gay rights group hoping to convince legislature to violate the constitution and ignore the ballot initiative, as the legislature did in 2002, when the protection of marriage amendment went before the Constitutional Convention.
       Know Thy Neighbor operates a website with a searchable database that lists all the signers of the marriage petition. Tom Lang, the founder of group, has been open with the fact that his intention of publicizing all of the names is so that gay activists and gay-friendly individuals can call and harass signers of the petition.
       Proponents of the marriage amendment received a big push on June 29th when Cardinal O’Malley and Gov. Romney appeared together to warn legislators that there would likely be legal action taken if they fail to vote on the amendment this week. (See Story Here).
