MCM Increasing
Its Message on Mass. Radio
Michael Graham Added on 96.9; Howie Carr,
Rush Limbaugh and Moe Lauzier Also Begin This Week
The number of radio shows
on which "Massachusetts Citizens for Marriage" will broadcast
its message will include Michael Graham on 96.9-FM, Howie Carr, Rush
Limbaugh and Moe Lauzier on WRKO, beginning this week.
The present lineup
of stations will continue as well, including WBZ, WEZE and WTTT.
"We're going
to be sure every citizen understands how the Boston Globe and the
New York Times lied 16 times about MCM in 2001-2002 in order to illegally
kill the 'Protection of Marriage' Amendment which would have forbidden
Margaret Marshall from illegally imposing gay marriage upon this state,"
says Sally Pawlick, Founder/President of MCM.
"Before the
Legislature votes in the next few weeks on Removing Judge Marshall
and the three judges who worked with her, we'll be sure that every
citizen knows about this sordid tale.
"We correctly
worry about the people of Iraq finding democracy, while many officials
in our own state since 2001 have violated our state Constitution,
including the Governor, the Legislature and the Supreme Judicial Court,
which is our highest court."
Pawlick points out
that Chief Justice Marshall was part of a unanimous SJC in 2002 which
ruled that Governor Swift and the Legislature under Senator Birmingham
had violated the state Constitution and yet Judge Marshall held there
was nothing she could do about it.
"Do we think
that Judge Marshall was influenced in her decision by the fact that
the Amendment would have prohibited her from imposing gay marriage
if she permitted it to become the law? Of course it did. That's what
people will be learning as this conflict reaches its climax very shortly."

When Margaret Marshall imposed gay marriage,
three of her own judges disagreed, saying "this is an abnormality."
What's at stake is the power of the
Legislature to effect social change, as mandated by the Constitution,
without interference from the courts.
The Legislature
MUST decide.

Those words were written by judges
on the court who disagreed with the Marshall ruling, which gave
her the power to decide gay marriage.
Three other judges did agree, making
it a 3-To-3 tie. This allowed Marshall to make the decision
herself.
The three
judges who disagree aren't bigots. They said:
"Advancement of the protections afforded to homosexual
members of our community has been significant." There's no reason to believe that THAT will
not continue.
Politely
urge your legislators (they count every call) to
immediately, now, this year, to vote to remove Marshall and
her three cohorts who illegally imposed gay marriage.
End gay marriage THIS year. Call your rep and senator today.

Making It a Religious Message Always Loses!

that a religious message has never been successful in stopping
gay marriage.

As long as those who favor traditional marriage continue
to emphasize "religion," we'll lose gay marriage.
Margaret
Marshall wants us to lose.

people hold deep-seated religious convictions on the subject."
Marshall wants everyone
to think gay marriage is a 'religious' issue.
It's not.

Vermonters
learned last year they can't keep this a religious issue. They lost every seat they'd won when civil
unions were made legal.
Maine switched from a secular group to a religious one
and lost their ongoing battle for the first time.
Texas just
won after copying our
approach from 2001. "Texans
for marriage" passed, with 76%, an amendment forbidding
gay marriage and
civil unions.
We're for Rep.
Emile Goguen's Resolution to remove the four judges who imposed
gay marriage. Say goodbye to gay marriage this
year.
The only way your rep and senator will understand you want
a vote on removing gay marriage is if you tell them.

citizens overflowed the House chamber in protest.
Keeping our powder dry, we've waited quietly for the opportune
time. We're very active now, supporting Rep Emile Goguen's Resolution which would eliminate gay marriage
this year and the new, marriage amendment scheduled for 2008.
