19 Reps Make Fools of Themselves, Including Jay Kaufman, Kay Khan, David Linsky and Jim Marzilli, by Agreeing with ACLU of Mass.

Only Senator to Join Is Andrea Nuciforo

Nineteen Reps, but only one Senator, have made fools of themselves by signing an ACLU Resolution affirming the “civil rights” of Mass. citizens --- even though all twenty personally broke the law* and violated the state Constitution in 2002 by refusing to vote on the Protection of Marriage Amendment, according to a unanimous SJC opinion on Dec. 20, 2002 which stated that they had violated the Constitution on July 17, 2002.

The SJC opinion ordered them to obey the law before Dec. 31, 2002, but they refused to do so.

In addition, the twenty violated the Constitution again in 2004 by refusing to vote on the Resolution by Rep. Emile Goguen (D-Fitchburg) to remove the Chief Justice and three Associate SJC judges who (according to the three SJC judges who refused to follow what they called Marshall’s “illegal” ruling) imposed homosexual “marriage” on this state on Nov. 18, 2003.

“It’s not surprising that the ACLU was able to get only 10% of the legislators --- 20 out of the 200 who are on Beacon Hill --- to sign,” said Sally Pawlick, President of Massachusetts Citizens for Marriage.

“They’ll have to do a lot better than that if they expect to get the 100 votes that will be necessary to defeat Emile Goguen’s Resolution to “remove” Margaret Marshall and the dirty three who voted with her.”

Most of the legislators are too intelligent to sign the ACLU Resolution. Those who made ongoing fools of themselves are:

• Cory Atkins, Lead Sponsor

• Ruth Balser

• Deborah Blumer

• Michael Festa

• Mary Grant

• Denis Guyer

• Patricia Jehlen

• Jay Kaufman

• Kay Khan

• Peter Kocot

• David Linsky

• Jim Marzilli

• Anne Paulsen

• Doug Petersen

• Byron Rushing

• Carl Sciortino, Jr.

• Frank Smizik

• Tom Stanley

• Kathleen Teahan

• Sen. Andrew Nuciforo

* The Reps listed here arguably broke the law only if they were legislators at the time, although they could probably all be prosecuted as accomplices in any court having jurisdiction.
