Latest on Tom Finneran Shows We Are Not Hallucinating
       The news that Tom Finneran now supports the use of embryos for stem cell research shows that we have not been hallucinating this year with our insistence that the former Speaker is a mole who has been posing as a devout Catholic all these years.
       The implications of this are enormous and will be argued for years. The hierarchy of the Church, as far as anyone knows, is still defending him, as is Gerry D’Avolio, the chief lobbyist of the Church for thirty years.
       D’Avolio is in total charge of what the Church does about “gay marriage,” including whether to support Rep. Emile Goguen (D-Fitchburg), the devout Catholic who was just re-elected by an astounding 71% and is puzzled why he gets no support from D’Avolio (and consequently the Church).
       At the very least, D’Avolio should be encouraged to retire immediately, as he wishes to do.
