Jennifer Peter at A.P. Gets It Wrong Jennifer Peter at Associated Press in the State House in Boston wrote a story last Sunday with the headline: “Gay Marriage Issue Fizzles in Massachusetts.” Peters has always tried to give the impression that she is perfectly fair, but the homosexual press jumped with joy when they saw this story. She wrote that the issue “is not playing a highly visible role in the legislative elections that could determine its fate.“ It’s difficult to cover the news of Massachusetts from inside the State House and that’s what Jennifer does. She started by quoting the former aide to Cheryl Jacques for her info, Angus McQuilken, who lost to Scott Brown in a special election last spring and is going to lose again in a rematch. The simple answer is that if the issue has failed in Massachusetts, why is Peters mentioning that Cheryl Jacques alone has just “pumped $600,000” into the state? That’s a huge amount of money to most people. And that’s emergency money on top of the money that has already flooded the state from activists who know what is really happening out there. It doesn’t seem important to Jennifer now. Maybe it will when she reports the election results.EditRegion3 |
