MassNews Is Vindicated After Six Years of Battling Media in Massachusetts
By Atty. J. Edward Pawlick, Publisher
After six years of our battling our establishment media in the state, which is dragged around by the dominant Boston Globe/NYTimes, everything is suddenly changing and this state will never be the same.

Scandal at Boston’s NPR Station, WBUR, Is No Surprise to MassNews; We Were Viciously and Unfairly Attacked by Them at Our Birth
Although I had been a trial lawyer for 12 years before founding the preeminent Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly in 1972, I was not prepared for the nastiness that greeted me when I began a conservative Internet newspaper here. When I tried to create an “Intelligent Discussion” about what we were teaching about homosexuality to children in the public schools, I was immediately treated to hate of the worse sort, with stories which reported that I was a “hater.”
This began immediately with an interview at WBUR, which was taped and edited before airing with the intent of making me look like a demon, instead of a well-respected member of the legal community.
Now we find that the General Manager at National Public Radio in Boston since its inception twenty-five years ago, Jane Christo, is in a huge scandal because she cheated, lied and helped her family and friends share the wealth at the station. She told the Globe: “We’ve had a mission, high standards, goals. . . There have been people who haven’t shared that.”
The word “mission,” should be changed to “agenda.”
The Globe is still protecting her as shown in its story last Saturday, “WBUR Head Resigns Amid Investigations.”
She should be prosecuted for embezzling, not lauded for creating a taxpayer funded, propaganda outlet for the liberal, feminist agenda.
Quotas in Hiring (Which Severely Damage Blacks and Women Under the Civil Rights Act) Are Finally Attacked in the Courts
The damage to blacks and women from the Civil Rights Act of 1964 is finally being attacked in our courts, as revealed in a Globe story yesterday that the U.S. has been ordered to pay $11.5 million to 550 white men for discrimination against them by the University of Michigan.
This was clearly shown in my 1998 book, “Freedom Will Conquer Racism and Sexism,” which demonstrated the tremendous damage being done to the poorer people, particularly blacks, who had not yet gained the skills necessary to compete in a free society, and how businesses started to flee this country when the Feds began to enforce the Act in the belief that business would continue to stay here while being unfairly pummeled by the government. They didn’t stay here, and we now see the result, with young blacks being unable to find jobs which have gone overseas and resorting to violence instead, while their “leaders” like Jesse Jackson get rich, pushing the hate against white people.
We are going to have to get over the desire to sue anyone for anything. It only makes people like Sen. John Edwards rich and the country poorer. Perhaps a few more victories like that at Michigan will help us to realize how stupid all of this is.
This principle has also helped homosexuality in our state. Employers are afraid to fire any homosexual no matter what their sin, because they know they will immediately be sued and the Globe will print a large story about their “guilt” even before the Complaint has been filed at the Discrimination Commission. It will be years before a trial could occur in court.
Elections This Year Are Already Indicating A Seismic Change
The elections in November are already indicating that a seismic change will take place despite the best efforts of the Globe.
I warned all the judges of the Supreme Judicial Court when I appeared before them in May 2003 that this would occur if they imposed homosexual “marriage,” upon the state, as Chief Justice Margaret Marshall obviously planned to do. But of course, none of the press reported it.
Despite Marshall’s illegal efforts to get Atty. Mary Bonauto to file the “marriage” lawsuit, Marshall refused to recuse herself from the case, even though my wife, Sally, filed an ethics complaint against her (so that Marshall could never say she didn’t know or nobody told her).
The Democrats, who love the homosexual money that is flowing to them, will not lose total control of the legislature --- yet --- but the scene will change as some real opposition begins to appear.
This will force the Democrats to stop violating the Constitution and allow a vote to take place on the Removal of Margaret Marshall and the 3 other judges who went along with her illegal scheme. Once that illegal decision has been changed, we may begin to see some sanity in the state and across the country. Massachusetts has been such a bad troublemaker to our nation.
My Book Will Go Nationwide
Pinch Sulzberger will soon be gone after my book, “Libel by New York Times,” goes nationwide. Now that we finally have had the time to take my book outside this state, Pinch Sulzberger and the New York Times will shortly begin to see the results.
The book is already getting a lot of press in one of the largest Internet newspapers in the country, WorldNetDaily, and that will soon spread to others as well.
Sulzberger made the mistake this April 14 of indicating that he fears the book by publishing a large article on the front page of the Boston Globe’s “Business” section, attacking it, me --- and my daughter, who bought Lawyers Weekly from me in 1997.
The story was a vicious attempt to stop lawyers from purchasing Lawyers Weekly because, it said, by doing so, they were helping “finance the screwiest fringe of the movement to stop gay marriage.” But the problem was that I had no connection with the paper after selling it. In addition, my daughter had been negotiating for a year to sell the 120-employee company because of the growing demands of her family. She was successful in September.
Sulzberger was almost discarded by his unhappy family last year over the Jayson Blair scandal, where a young black man, that Pinch kept around as a token, finally tried to determine if there was any limit to what a token-pet could do before being reprimanded. Despite the fact that he was creating fictional stories for the Times front page, nothing he could do would draw any criticism from Pinch’s editors. Finally, the scandal did break when another paper complained after one of its stories was plagiarized and Pinch had to fire two of his best friends and demonize his former token.
All Pinch needs is another scandal to topple him from power.
Six Years of Effort
It’s been a long six years of effort and we could write another book about living in the land of “compassion,” “inclusiveness” and “diversity” --- maybe some day we will --- but you will have to excuse us if we gloat a little.
