MCM Wins on Marriage Amendment

Mass. Citizens For Marriage scored an immense victory in the battle to keep married families as the basic building block of our society when the SJC made it clear on Dec. 20 that the Boston Globe, the feminists and the homosexual activists had resorted to cheating in their attempts to defeat the Marriage Amendment at any cost.

What the final outcome will be on this amendment is anyone's guess as everyone waits for a new lawsuit to wend its way through the SJC.

"I feel confident they will move the Amendment on to the new Legislature," says J. Edward Pawlick, attorney for MCM. "Both the Legislature and the Governor, as well as the Boston Globe, thumbed their noses at the Court after its decision of Dec. 20 and stuck their fingers in its eye. They blatantly showed their lack of respect for the law and for our highest state court. The seven Justices can't be very happy about that, particularly when they see our democracy being threatened and they realize they are the final guardians of that democracy. However, regardless of what the Court does, we will not be going away."
