"The fire truck is our symbol of the need to douse the flames of corruption in the court system," said Johnson.

The following is Barbara's Latest Report:

Our participation and the efforts of many others before and during events at the debate on Tuesday worked.

Two 5-candidate debates have been arranged: Wednesday, Oct 9th, and Monday Oct 21st. I am not sure if Carla will attend.

On Wednesday, I went out to the Berkshires. Was interviewed at 5:30 a.m. by Larry Kratka of WUPE. Was broadcast that morning and sent out on the wire services.

He invited me back at 11 a.m., when he taped a half-hour interview to play this Sunday morning. It's Berkshire County's version of Meet the Press.

I was interviewed by Berkshire Eagle. I have not seen the article yet, but Jim Lenski has. Pictures of the truck and me.

In North Adams, I was interviewed also by the Transcript. Nice interview. Pictures of the truck and me.

A radio reporter found us gassing up and interviewed me in the gas station. He "had heard" we were around!

Later in the day, was interviewed by WHMP in Northampton. The host, Chris Collins, wanted my signs for his office!

This morning I was interviewed by Bob Paquette of WFCR in Amherst. (He interviewed Carla and Jill last week.)

A Globe photographer arrived at my place today. Earlier I had been interviewed on phone by Globe reporter and . . . will be tomorrow morning at 10:00 at my place. The main thrust of her story will be FATHERS' RIGHTS!
