Media Watch:
Globe Reveals Its True Agenda for Catholics

The true agenda of the Boston Globe's attacks against the Catholic Church became obvious on Sunday when that feminist paper commissioned an article by a professor at Boston College in favor of women priests.

The headline was, The free flow of fresh air. As the Catholic Church opens windows, a theologian says celibacy and women's ordination should be central to the debate.

How hard did the Globe have to search to find Prof. Thomas H. Groome, who would parrot their agenda?

Some of his analysis would make anyone shudder.

He started out softly, thus sounding reasonable and leaving the pitch for women priests for the end. First, he said that the current problems show the need for married priests, in addition to celibate ones. He made these statements:

Many priests "began to attempt celibacy in their early teens, with adolescent hormones in top gear and sexual identity often still in flux. Who knows what effect that had?"

Is the man joking? Does he think that every kid who hasn't had sex by sixteen is going to become a homosexual? That will happen to a very tiny number of men even if they never see a woman. Has he heard about the Army and Navy? As he says, the "vast majority turned out to be fine priests with only a handful of aberrants among them."

"Might there be some connection between celibacy and the 'gaying' of the priesthood?" The answer is no. So far, we have heard about 50 out of more than 1000 who were molesters, about double what would be found in the general population. Does the professor know more?

"Many of our finest priests and bishops are gay." Who made that decision?

"That shortage [of priests], a crisis long before this scandal hit, is attributable to having celibacy as a precondition for priesthood." Has the Professor never heard of Protestants? They also have a dire shortage of ministers even though they have no restriction of celibacy.

Then they got to the real reason his article was printed:

"Likewise, the presence of women as priests and bishops would be an extraordinary gift to the life of the Catholic Church.

"But it must keep the issues of celibacy and the ordination of women on the table as well."

It's good to finally understand why the extreme, feminist Globe has made the Catholic church the most important news in the entire world for the last three months -- to push their agenda on this powerful organization.
