Fliers about Marriage You Can Make Copies and Distribute Them The following one-page fliers about the Marriage Amendment (8 ½ x 11- two sides) have been distributed widely at the State House on Beacon Hill by Mass. Citizens for Marriage. Anyone can reproduce as many copies as you wish, very quickly and cheaply, and distribute them everywhere you are able. This flier tells how the Public Service Committee made such outrageously false statements in its Report that all the members will be haunted by them until the election in 2004 -- unless they repudiate them now. Flier #2 Is 'Protection of Marriage' Amendment Necessary? This flier explains that the Supreme Judicial Court has said the role of a conscientious legislator is not to insert his or her own opinion during this process but to let the people vote on the issue. The SJC said in 1992 that the purpose of this process is to "allow the people 'to enact laws directly without being thwarted by an unresponsive legislature.'" *
